Harvey Clifton Scarbrough, fondly known as "Boe," passed away peacefully at home in Terry, Mississippi, on July 7, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Simi Valley, California, on February 11, 1962 to Malcom Scarbrough and Ruby Phillips Scarbrough.
Boe was a seasoned auto mechanic, known for his skill and expertise, and he dedicated countless hours to his craft. His outspoken and opinionated nature made him a memorable personality, one who did not shy away from sharing his thoughts and engaging with others. He had a zest for life that resonated through his work and his relationships.
A true lover of the arts, Boe found great joy in both listening to and creating music across various genres. His musical talents were complemented by his artistic abilities, expressed through painting and drawing. These passions were not just hobbies; they were an integral part of who he was, enriching his life and the lives of those around him.
Boe is preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Laney Schrock and a brother, Buddy Scarbrough.
Boe is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Anita Scarbrough, and their three beloved children: sons Cory Scarbrough, married to Ashley, residing in Crystal Springs, and Joseph Scarbrough, married to Chasity, of Raymond, along with their daughter Summer Lewis, married to Mark, of Flowood. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his grandchildren: Noah, Addison, Xane, Layden, Noah B, Rylan, Jonah, Callan, and Carson.
His family and friends will remember him as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a passionate artist, whose spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
