His departure leaving a void in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and all that knew him. A public viewing will be held on Saturday 8/2/25 from 1-6pm at The RC Bostic Chapel, 905 Brutonville Road, Candor, NC 27229. Celebration of life service for Mr. Steele will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 1pm, with a public viewing from 12-1pm at The Biscoe Community Center (The Old Biscoe School), 209 Page Street, Biscoe, NC. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Candor, NC Repass will take place at the Biscoe Auditorium following Interment. Pastor Ben Townsend of Antioch Miracle Temple, Candor, Eulogist Survivors: Wife, Vivian "Vickey" Steele of the home; Sons: Sean Steele (deceased), Brian Steele, Nicholas Steele, and David Steele all of Biscoe, NC; Daughters, Carrie Patel (Rickey) of Biscoe, NC, Ella Steele of McDonough, GA; 9 Grandchildren; Brother, Barney Steele of Candor, NC; Sisters, Betty Chapman (Sam) of Greensboro, NC, Louise Steele of Candor, NC, Cynthia Shamburger (Elliott) of Candor, NC, Beulah Mae Steele of Winston Salem, NC, Charity Steele of Eagle Springs, NC, and Edna Mae Steele of Jackson Springs, NC.
