Hattie "Sis" Washington was born on July 5, 1957, in Texarkana, Texas, to Clyde Washington Sr. and Nobie Coleman Washington. A proud graduate of Texas High School, Class of 1975, Sis was known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family, friends, and community.

Sis had a passion for enjoying life-she loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, dancing, listening to good music, laughing, joking, and having a good old-fashioned time. A beloved figure in the Rose Hill community, where she was both raised and later raised her children, Sis was known to many as "the moma that did NOT play."

At a young age, Sis professed her belief in Jesus Christ and faithfully raised her children in Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church. In her later years, she began studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses and was preparing to transition her faith.

Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Washington Sr. and Nobie Coleman Washington; her brothers, Joley Washington, Raul Wafer, and Clyde Washington Jr.; her grandson, Jaylon Takye Stiger; and her granddaughter, ZyMya Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

· Her former husband, lifetime friend, and the father of her children, Robert Cullins of Texarkana, AR;

· Her children, TaKory "Kory" Cullins (Terrienna) of Rockwall, TX and TaNiqua "Nikki" Cullins of Fate, TX;

· Her grandchildren, TiYana Cullins of Grand Prairie, TX; TaKory "Two" Cullins II of Austin, TX; TaKory "Tre" Cullins of Rockwall, TX; and Khegan Johnson of San Diego, CA;

· Her nieces, ElQuita Dickens (Harry) of Texarkana, AR and Alicia Washington Page (Johnathan) of Prescott, AR;

· Her nephews, Ricardo "Bro" Washington of Little Rock, AR and Joseph Washington of Stamps, AR; and

· A host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends

Sis will be remembered for her strength, humor, honesty, and love-a woman who stood firm in who she was and poured into those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
