Hazel L. Morton, age 78, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.

Born Tuesday, March 4, 1947, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Franklin J. and Sarah E. Miller Herrmann.

Hazel was a member of the American Legion for thirty years with her last home post being the Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60 in Berkeley Springs, WV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Morton who passed April 21, 2007; and two brothers, Tom and Joe.

Hazel is survived by the last of her immediate family which includes three nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces, one great-nephew, and one sister-in-law.

Services will be private.
