February 18, 1943 – July 31, 2025

Heladio "Larry" Estrada, lovingly known as "Lalo," passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on February 18, 1943, in Agua Dulce, Texas, to Guadalupe Morris and Leon Estrada.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army from March 21, 1967, to January 27, 1969. During his service, he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Following his military service, Larry worked at the Naval Depot in Corpus Christi.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Larry had a passion for fishing and could often be found tinkering in his garage. He was the go-to person in the neighborhood for fixing lawn mowers, cars, or anything in need of repair. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand will be remembered by all who knew him. Above all, Larry loved his family deeply. He took great pride in caring for his sons and especially cherished his granddaughter, Alexandra.

He is survived by his sons, Michael and Alan Estrada; his beloved granddaughter, Alexandra Estrada; and his brothers, Joe and Cruz Estrada.

Larry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and unwavering support of those he loved.

A visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7pm that evening. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 14 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
