Helen L Miller, 89, of Cross Junction, VA, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at her home in Cross Junction, VA.
Helen was born on March 24, 1936 in Morgan County, WV, the daughter of the late Romanus "Manney" and Margaret Bowers Bohrer. She worked as a seasonal worker at Shenandoah Apple and Zeropack both in Winchester, VA. She was a member of Timber Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Cross Junction, VA, having served as a deacon. Helen loved her flowers, gardening, canning and reading.
Helen married Adam R. Miller on August 21, 1962, in Hagerstown, MD. Adam died on December 25, 2007.
Surviving is a son: Steve A. Miller (Amanda) of Cross Junction, VA; a daughter: Mary Ann Roach (Danny) of Cross Junction, VA; four grandchildren: Jeff, Donna, Heather & Savanna, four great-grandchildren: Alesia, Lexis, Zackary (Olivia) & Lucas and four great-great-grandchildren: Aurora, Aiden, Karina & Willows; many nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by a son: Edward Lee Bohrer and a daughter: Shelia K. Miller
The family will receive friends at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 1 to 2 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Montoro. Interment will follow in the Timber Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Cross Junction, VA.
The family will gather after the graveside service at Reynolds Store Fire Hall in Cross Junction, VA.
