Henry "Mick" Even of Sheboygan, WI, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, in Plymouth, Wisconsin, at the age of 82.
Born on November 10, 1942, Mick spent his life in Sheboygan, where he built a reputation as a hardworking, kindhearted man with a steady presence and easygoing nature. He owned and operated a successful car lot for many years, known for treating his customers with honesty and respect.
Mick had a knack for playing the accordion-a skill he picked up along the way and would bring out now and then to entertain friends and family. He was quick with a dry joke, steady in his support of those he loved, and quietly proud of the family he helped raise.
He was a devoted father to his three sons: Dan (Connie) Even, Kevin (Leslie) Even, and Cory Even. He was a proud grandfather to Katie Even, Hannah Haack, Madi King, Christopher Even, Dillon Even, Megan Yurk, Lexi Even, Abbey Even, and Gregory Even.
He was also the beloved great-grandfather of Emma, Austin Jr., Jefferson, and Eve (children of Hannah), and Ayden, Ophelia, and Ivy (children of Megan).
Mick was preceded in death by his parents, Janet and Henry Even; his brother, Jack Even; and his daughter-in-law, Kim Even (wife of Cory).
Mick was fortunate to have the steady presence of his dear friend Darcy, whose friendship and care meant the world to him. She was always there, and he cherished her deeply.
He kept things simple, didn't ask for much, and gave what he could. That's what made him the kind of person people respected-and the kind of family man people looked up to.
Following Mick's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation.
