Henry "Brad" Gary, age 69, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. Born on November 9, 1955, in Augusta, Georgia, he was the beloved son of Fredrick and Betty Gary.
Brad dedicated his professional life to the field of orthopedics, serving as an orthopedic technician for Hanger Orthopedics. His passion for helping others was exemplified by his significant contribution to the development of "The Charleston Bending Brace," a pioneering device for scoliosis treatment that has positively impacted countless lives.
A true enthusiast of technology, Brad had an innate talent for working with machines. Whether it was tinkering with RC cars, building computers, or exploring the latest advancements in technology, he approached every project with enthusiasm and creativity. His ability to rebuild his computer to enhance gaming experiences was a testament to his innovative spirit and love for problem-solving.
Brad was a devoted father to his two sons, Kevin and Zachary (Alyssa), and a cherished grandfather to his three grandchildren, Aidan, Brennan, and Adrien. He took immense joy in spending time with his family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia and Samuel Gary, who will remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
Brad's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the moments shared and the love he imparted. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his contributions to both his profession and his family.
