Herbert Trim Obituary

Funeral Services for Herbert B. Trim, 85, of Eros, Will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Immanuel Worship and Fellowship in West Monroe. Pastor Billy Taylor will officiate. Interment will be at Old Sardis Cemetery, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday March 2, 2025 at the church.
Herbert was born in Port Gibson, Mississippi on May, 8, 1940 and passed away on February 28, 2025 in Monroe. He was an active member of Immanuel Worship and Fellowship. Herbert was described as a very big strong, caring man by all who knew him. He was a retired carpenter who had a passion for working with his hands, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife, Alma B. Trim; parents, Mike and Lucille Burch Trim.
Herbert is survived by his 4 children, Louise Magolan and husband Tom, Allen Trim and wife Diane, Kenny Bo Trim and wife Vickie, Pete Trim; sister, Lucille Hobbs; brother, Tommy Trim; and 8 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren; good friend of the family and care taker, Mary Emerson; and many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rambo Trim, Pete Young, Adam Frith, Amy Magolan, Austyn Bartmess, and Spencer Bartmess.
