Herlinda "Linda" Muñoz Richey, 78 of Gainesville, Texas passed away with her family by her side on August 20, 2025. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 20, 1946 to Isaac Nuncio Muñoz and Herlinda Rodriguez.
Linda worked as Supervisor at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio over the CF8 cargo plane, translator for Judge Morris's court, bus driver for Sivells Bend, Security Guard and Cashier at Winstar Casino, Dealer trade driver for Jim McNatt dealership in Denton, Texas and short order cook at Moss Lake Store & Grill. Herlinda was a beautiful loving wife and mother.
Linda is survived by her husband, Larry Richey; son, Victor Muñoz and wife, Alicia; daughters, Diana May and Yvette Rule; grandchildren, Patrick James Benton, Jessica Lynn May, Joseph Ernest Rule, Jr., Aaron Muñoz, Jose Adan Muñoz, Desirea Melanie Gonzalez and Destiney Gonzalez.
Preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Herlinda Rodriguez Munoz; son, Jose Adan Gonzalez; brothers, David Perez and Manual Perez; sister, Henrietta Martinez; granddaughter, Tiffany Marie Rule; sister, Olga Perez.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00am, Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville. Visitation will be held at 10:00am before the service. Interment at New Resthaven Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas
