Herman Neal Warren, 85, of Xenia, IL passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in the Skilled Care Unit.
He was born in rural Wayne County October 12, 1939. Herman was the son of the late Caleb Neal & Nova (Harmon) Warren.
In Herman’s early years he attended a couple one room school the Orchardville area. He attended his freshman year at Wayne City High School; he then attended Fairfield High School and graduated from there. Herman then attended and Graduated from the University of Evansville. He then started his business career with (Geo. S. Olive Accounting Firm, which is now Forvis LLP). He retired as a Partner out of the Indianapolis office.
After retirement he did much traveling in his motorhome and a couple stops in Florida but chose to settle back where he grew up in Orchardville.
Herman is survived by his brother Chester Warren, Kimberling City, MO, and his sister Doris Warren Gittelson Pryor, Orchardville, IL, Beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents, half-sister, Glenn’ Miller, half-brothers, Russell, Donald, Carl and Forrest Warren.
Graveside Services: Will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.at Bailey Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Orchardville Church Building Fund Program.
