He was born on February 13, 1958 in Kirksville, MO to Clarence and Jeannetta Morrison Woods. Hollis married Connie Bates on June 18, 2000. He was a machine operator and earned his blackbelt in taekwondo. Hollis enjoyed hunting, fishing and football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Woods of Keokuk; two stepsons, Eric (Lisa) Vincent, Craig (Katrina) Vincent both of Keokuk and two step grandchildren, Christian and JoJo Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a step son, Howard Vincent.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory. A family burial will be held on the family farm in Missouri. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
