Memorial services for Homer Shields, 87, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Don Jacob will officiate.
Mr. Shields passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He was born February 26, 1938, in Allen to Mose and Elmay Walton Shields. Mr. Shields serviced in the United States Army and was a minister until his retirement.
Survivors include his daughter, Renata Shields of Ada; 14 grandchildren, Joshua, Tulsa, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Constance, Jericho, Jarrod, Jacob, Jalon, Sarah, Tommie Rose, Breanna, Mark, and Jace; and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dollie Cole, four children, Anthony Shields, Leslie Shields, Rhonda Shields and Eric Shields; brother, Michael Demarrias, and grandson, Christopher Shields.
