Houston "Larry" Dutruch went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born on February 20, 1961 and was a lifelong resident of the Barker's Corner area of Lee Road, in Covington, LA.
Larry was a devoted family man, an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as, an accomplished small business owner. He was a hard-worker and he enjoyed cooking and always keeping the conversation going.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Charlotte Melton Dutruch; Daughter, Tara Cooper; Son, Chase Dutruch (Samantha); along with his Siblings, Pamela Lambert (Lionel), Roger Dutruch (Doris), Deborah Taylor; and Sister-in-law, Theresa Penny (Jeff). Aunts, Pamela Culotta (Frank), Deloras Barbazon; Nieces, Doniette Jenkins (Steven), Amanda Tallent (Troy), and Kelli Melton; Nephews, Kenny Schilling (Julie), Brandon Taylor (Nikki), Jeffrey Penny, and Jaythan Penny (Amber).
He also leaves behind his pride and joy, also known as, his grandchildren, Sadie, Houston "Aaron", Saige, Sandie, Hunther, and Haydn Dutruch; and Kali, Khloe, Kensly, and Kylin Cooper.
He is preceded in death by his father, Houston "Jack" Dutruch; his mother, Golda Mae Rushing Dutruch Bridges; brother, Danny Dutruch; nephew, Brad Dutruch; niece, Amanda Dutruch, great-niece, Kaylie McLain and brother-in-law, David Melton.
Services will be held at Shepherd's Care Church on Tuesday, July 15th, at 3:00PM until 8:00PM. Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating our beloved Larry.
