Howard Bennett Obituary

Howard Wayne Bennett, 85, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Friday, December 5, 2025, at home.
Howard was born Sunday, April 28, 1940, in Mill Creek, a son of the late Lewis William Bennett and Rissie Taylor Bennett.
Left to cherish his memory is one daughter, Denise Bennett of FL, grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly, Dennis, Lewis, two sisters, Carolyn Meade of Mill Creek, Sandra Miller and husband Gary of WA, niece and tech guru, Christi Phillips and husband Jarrod of Beverly, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one great-great-grandchild, and special friend, Terry Croston.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was one son, Lewis Wayne Bennett, two sisters, Ellen Jean Anderson, Helen Mundell, and two brothers-in-law, Junior Meade and Richard Mundell.
Howard was a 1959 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School. He had been employed at the Department of Agriculture in Maryland for over thirty years until his retirement. Howard was an avid pool player, enjoyed playing card games with his sisters, and loved a good conspiracy theory.
Howard's request for cremation was honored. A memorial service will be held in the Spring.
