Humberto Hinojosa Jr., age 63, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 17, 1961, to Humberto Hinojosa Sr. and Delia Garcia Hinojosa. Humberto cherished spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandsons. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-watching television, listening to music, and raising roosters. His warm presence, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Humberto and Delia Hinojosa, maternal grandparens Eusebio and Maria Garcia; paternal grandparents, Abel and Emma Hinojosa; his sister, Maria Elisa Garcia; niece, Anyssa Hinojosa.
Humberto is survived by his wife of 38 years of marriage, Marisa Hinojosa of Benavides, Texas; his son, Humberto Hinojosa III of Benavides, Texas; three daughters, Anastacia Saenz, Tricia Hinojosa (Kelly Dimas) and Victoria Hinojosa all of Benavides, Texas; his three brothers, Oscar (Beckie) Hinojosa, Javier Hinojosa, Carlos "Cavo" Hinojosa; brother-in-law, Pete Garcia; four grandchildren, Ruben Valdez, Bladen, Zaiden, and Kaleb Dimas; close cousins, Manfred, Carmen, Bella; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Services will conclude at the funeral home that evening.
