Ida Mae Whitfield Ison, born June 27, 1930, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 95.

During her life, she served as pianist or organist at Gravel Ridge First Baptist, Sherwood First Baptist, and Runyan Baptist churches. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Ida was predeceased by her parents, Ellis and Blanche Whitfield, her brother, Henry (Bud) Whitfield, and her husband of 52 years, F.E. (Bud) Ison.

She is survived by her three children, Jackie Finkbeiner (Alex), Karen Albright (Jim), and Joe Ison (Christie); six grandchildren, Stacy, Melissa, Brian, Jarett, Morgan, Ben; and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
