She retired from the Carlinville Area Hospital Dietary Department, after working 20 years of dedicated and hard work, to spend more time with family and friends.

She is survived by sons Bob (Sharlyne) Emery of Carlinville, Fred (Vera) Emery of Carlinville, and daughter Frances Ann Emery of Carlinville (who was her care giver since age 17. Later, Frances would need more help with her mom's care and got assistance from hospice), daughters-in-law: Linda Emery of Carlinville and Elaine Bilbruck of Carlinville, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, four brothers (Harold, Willard, George, and Charles Eichen), three sons, (Charles, David, and Kenneth), one grandchild, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4-7pm at Davis Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.
