Ingeborg Herta Mahn Obituary

INGEBORG HEDWIG HERTA MAHN, age 97 passed away on July 11, 2025. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Franz Adalbert Mahn; dearest mother of Birgitta Lowrie (husband Daryl), Monica Volan (husband Kenneth), Brian (wife Gina), and Gordon (wife Lori); loving grandmother of William, Sarah, Jennifer, Katrina, Nathan, Alaina, Brenna, Ethan, and the late Philip; great-grandmother to Ryder, Rawlee, Roman, Olivia, Emma, Valerie, Elaina, and Theo; dear sister of Reinhardt Krempin, and preceded in death by her brother Gunther, and sisters Traute and Marilouise.
Inge's life was rooted in faith and family. She cherished playing cards with friends, baking, crocheting, and watching goldfinches outside her window.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Inge to The Ohio Eastern Star Home, 1451 Gambier Rd., Mt. Vernon, OH 43050. Funeral Service Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Messiah Lutheran Church (Mayfield Rd.) at 12 noon. (Please meet at the church.) Interment Knollwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) ON TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025 FROM 4 TO 6 P.M.
