Ingelore Rosenthall Obituary
Inge loved to travel, she visited 110 countries, 6 continents, and Zealandia! Inge spent many happy years Gardening, Quilting, Bird Watching and perfecting Needlepoint, she had an artists eye. Inge would visit plant nurseries everywhere and bring plants home to watch them grow in her gardens. Inge was a member of; Christ Church, North Stonington Garden Club (1985), and Westerly YMCA Garden Club.
In 1956 the East German Government allowed Inge to leave East Germany in order to work as a Surgical Nurse in West Germany, where she stayed 3 years. Inge then moved to Zurich Switzerland to serve at a Maternity Hospital for 3 years delivering thousands of babies; Paris was next to work as a Au Pair. In the summer of 1964, Inge moved to Manhattan and worked as a pediatric nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she cared for children. Inge left retirement to lovingly care for Eleanor Kenyon, her dear friend. Ingelore will be remembered and missed for spreading her positive joy of life, and her ability to make friends during any given moment.
