Irene made friends wherever she went. She was known as the Dancing Queen in the Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and spouse of sixty-five years, Hoyt Evans.
Irene is survived by her children, Darlene Faulkner, David Evans (Jane), Michelle Johnson (Steve), and Jennifer Goodman (Doug); sisters, Glenda Austin, Eillen Williams, and Phylis Whisenant; grandchildren, Ken Faulkner (Sam), Ashley Briley (Tyler), Mandy Blaise (Sean), Jon Copeland (Amy), David Evans (Sean), Madison Newton (Bobby), Emily Goodman, and Briley Goodman; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Cummins, Lillian Faulkner, Mason Cummins, Madilyn Copeland, Ella Faulkner, Adam Copeland, Liam Copeland, Ramona Faulkner, Maximus Blaise, and Reef Blaise.
The family offers special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Brentwood Assisted Living.
