Jack Cain, 56, of Panama City Beach, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Born on April 1, 1969, in Wilmington, North Carolina, Jack lived a life defined by love, kindness, and an unwavering willingness to help others.
A devoted husband, proud father, and beloved "Papa," Jack was known for his generous heart and quiet strength. He never waited to be asked-he simply stepped in and lent a hand whenever it was needed. His legacy of compassion and selflessness will live on in all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Dawn Thomas; his children, Tiffany Cain, Summer Lage (Paul), Shellie Delauder, Yawndell Thomas, Ashlee Thomas, Steven Jack Cain, Jr., and Donnel Hill; and his cherished grandchildren, Dalton Thompson, Mason Cain, Connor Lage, Juliana Lage, Anijia Hayes, Skylynn Hayes, Quincy Gilbert, Jeremiah Smith, and Josiah Smith. He is also survived by his parents, Winford Ray Cain and Diane Cain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with service expenses may be made to Heritage Funeral Home, 247 N. Tyndall Parkway, or by calling (850) 785-1316.
