Jack M. Taylor was born August 14, 1931 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to
Eldridge and Ruby Taylor. He attended Bridge Creek Schools through grade 8 and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1949. Jack joined the Navy after graduation and served during the Korean War. He came home on leave and married his teenage sweetheart Donna Rae Young in 1952. Jack retired from Wilson Foods in 1967 due to a massive heart attack. Later he opened Alpine Air Conditioning. After multiple procedures and surgeries, he had a heart transplant in 1987, "God's Gift"! He and Donna loved to travel both in their 5th wheel and to other countries overseas. Jack is preceded in death by his son Kevin Charles Taylor, brother Charles Taylor, sisters Mildred Rowland, Naoma Pierce, and Mary Ann Spencer. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Donna Taylor of OKC, daughter Kathy Thompson of Bridge Creek, Ok, grandchildren Chad Medford and wife Heather of Moore, OK, Hollie Thompson of Bridge Creek, OK and great grandsons Carter and Logan, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at McNeil's Funeral Service Mustang, Oklahoma on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM with burial following at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wheatland, Oklahoma.
