Jackie L. Brown, 60, formerly of California, MO passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1965 in Rolla, MO the daughter of Jack G. Crawford and Virginia (Lacy) Crawford both of who preceded her in death. Jackie was a 1983 graduate of California High School. She was later united in marriage on June 21, 1986 in California, MO to Eddie Brown who preceded her in death on October 18, 2000. Jackie worked for the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources and the Missouri Dept of Rev. for many years. She was a member of Solid Rock Church in Jefferson City. Jackie enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, watching T.V., going to Branson and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jackie is survived by her son, Travis Brown of J.C. MO; daughter, Stephanie Brown of J.C. MO; sister, Cathy Scheperle (Greg) of Russellville, MO; brother, Steve Crawford of Linn, MO; 3 grandchildren, Hailee Purl, Emilee Purl and Aiden Brown; 2 great grandchildren, Ansley Purl and Alice Boyd. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April

24, 2025 from 11:00 A.M- 12 Noon with the funeral immediately following at 12 Noon all at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Joe Skiles. Interment will be at the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Solid Rock Church Missions c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, MO.
