Jackie Allen Fairbanks, 59, of Decatur, TN passed away on July 6, 2025.
Jackie was a man of many loves. He had a passion for fishing, a deep appreciation for squirrel hunting (and, of course, his wife's famous squirrel biscuits and gravy), and an undeniable need for speed, especially when it came to stirring up a little trouble in cars! As a dedicated NASCAR fan, Jackie's heart raced for Dale Earnhardt, but when his hero passed, so did Jackie's interest in the sport.
He also found joy in riding around Reliance with his beloved wife, Donna. But above all, Jackie cherished the time spent with his brothers, sisters, and, most importantly, his family, especially his grandbabies. He loved his kids with all his heart and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will be deeply missed.
Jackie's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Imogene Fairbanks; daughter, Cassie Nicole Fairbanks; brother, Sammy Fairbanks; and sister, Karen Denton.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Fairbanks; 4 children, Joshua Fairbanks, Savannah Fairbanks, Haley Fairbanks, and James Fairbanks (Marie Fearing); grandkids, Gus, Bean, Gavin, Tucker, J.J., Samuel, Aeon, Aoife, D.D., Able, Lilah, and Pooper; brothers, Don Fairbanks and Chuck Fairbanks; sister, Cindy Boyd; brothers from another mother, Tim Witt and Herman Shaffer; and many nieces, nephews and other loved family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens, TN at 8:00pm. A Visitation will be held prior from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
