Born on July 22, 1960, in Corsicana, Texas, to Jack and Evelyn Phillips, Jackie spent her childhood and attended school in Blooming Grove, graduating in 1978. She dedicated many years of her career to Medical Arts Clinic Corsicana and the Navarro County Tax Assessor's Office. Jackie loved Elvis and enjoyed attending tribute artist concerts.
In 1976, Jackie married Dwayne Owen, and together they welcomed their beloved son, Christopher.
Jackie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Stacy Owen; grandsons Hunter (Pardner) and Reagon Owen, and Conner Owen (Littleman); precious great-granddaughter Chaney Shae Owen (Puddin); sisters Sue (Roy) Mershawn, Barbara Phillips, and LeeAnn (Jack) Herod; sisters-in-law Janet (Mike) Allred, Daun (Jerry) Lambert, and Debbie (William) Armstrong; special cousin Boot Braden; numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and the staff at Baylor Scott & White Dallas Pickens Hospital 5th floor who became family during her extended stays there.
She is preceded in death by husband Dwayne, parents Jack and Evelyn Phillips, brother John Phillips, sister Donna Phillips, and parents in-law Ray and Billie Ann Owen
Officiating the service are Pastors Grady Cashion and Eric Larsen. Serving as pallbearers are Christian Rowland, Jordan Lee, Michael Leggett, Terry Barr, Timmy Barr, and Trevor Boyde.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to the Jackie Phillips Owen account at Prosperity Bank where all the proceeds will be given to the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation with a special designation for Pickens 5th floor.

I remember all the great times we had growing up in Blooming Grove. I will think of her every time my grandkids play "High Ho Cherry Oh".

I worked with Jackie at Medical Arts, she was a good friend,Jackie was a joy to be around, if you were down just talk to Jackie and everything seemed better . a wonderful person,co- worker,lovely person, I enjoyed working with her. May God give hold you in the palm of his hand in this trying time, God bless you.
