Sorry to hear of Jim´s passing.
I worked with Jim at NYSDOT Rochester in the eighties, a pleasure to work with.

Jim was wonderful to our daughter, Stephanie. He helped her build a fort and a climbing wall, and any project she could think of. One time Steph dressed up and "ran away" from home right over to Jim´s lap in his recliner. I think that is when she stole his heart. Jim and Helen´s couch was where we dropped Steph off when she was sick on a school day. Helen would let her watch anything but Jim was not a fan of Arthur! Helen and Jim came to her sports and school functions, First Communion, graduation, and wedding. They were always so proud, which Helen showed with tears and Jim in his own way. Jim and Helen were great next door neighbors and " grandparents". We loved our visits in Florida and trips for ice cream, and many adventures. Their living room table is full of pictures of Jimmy Joe,Steph(and Jake) and then Miles. Thank you Jimmy Poo (and Helen)for the love you shared with Steph through many, many years.
