James (Jamie) Branch, former Denison and Achille resident, passed from this life on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at the age of 50. Jamie was born on Sunday, May 12th, 1974 in Denison, Texas to Roy Branch and Bari (Campbell) Branch.
Jamie grew up and graduated from Denison High School. He was a former employee with the City of Denison for almost 20 years in the Code Enforcement division. Jamie's most recent job was a clerk at a retail liquor store. Jamie absolutely loved fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed being with family and family gatherings whether it was having a cookout or just being together. Jamie was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and he always had the best time when all the kids were at the house.
Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Bari Branch; and an uncle, Cliff Riggs.
He is survived by his dad, Roy Branch; step-mom, Vickie Branch; a son, Cody Liverman; brother, Brian Branch; step-brothers, Jesse Farrell and his wife, Melinda, Justin Farrell and his wife, Bridgette, Jason Farrell, and Jared Northcutt; close niece and nephew, Breanna Highsmith and Bradley Branch; and several nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 13, at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Mr. Don Fentem officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesse Farrell, Justin Farrell, Elvell Johnson, Jacob Cherry, Dakota Cherry, and Justin Farrell Jr.
Jamie's family will receive and greet friends on Sunday, January 12, from 6-8 PM at Brown's Funeral Home in Durant.
