Celebrating the Life of Gerald Clontz
No words can fully capture the spirit of Gerald. He had a heart as big as the sky, a stubborn streak that could drive you crazy, and a quiet tenderness he saved for those he loved most. He was dedicated, loyal, and hardworking, someone you could always count on to show up when it mattered. He gave of himself freely and wholeheartedly; in a way few people do.
Gerald had a passion for life's simple joys. He loved his red trucks, his fur babies, TikTok, old westerns, and UFC nights. He had a sharp wit and a love for terrible dad jokes that somehow always made you laugh anyway. He was never afraid to speak his mind, and although he didn't always change yours, he'd try his best-with humor, honesty, and good intentions.
Above all, Gerald loved his family. His wife and sons were his world, and everything he did was with them in mind. He was an incredible man-strong, loving, genuine-and he will be missed more than words can say.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Valerie; his sons, Joshua Clontz (Heather); Wesley Lash (Amanda) and Joseph Lash; his brother, William "Bill" Clontz Jr.(Sandy); sisters, Barbara Ford and Joy Freeman (Jimmy); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a proud Grampy to seven grandchildren who adored him: Lexi Clontz, twins Grace and Emilee Clontz, Luna and Jakob Lash, and Kaleb Wilson and Zach Smith. They will forever remember him as the best Grampy in the world.
Though our hearts are heavy, we know the powerful energy that was you, Gerald, will continue to watch over us. We will rev your trucks, love your fur babies, and take care of each other-just the way you would want us to.
Forever in our hearts.
Private Services will be held at a later date.
