JAMES PATRICK DILLON, SR
James Patrick Dillon, SR. age 85, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

James was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 12, 1940 to Thomas Dillon and Margaret (O'Brien) Dillon. Upon James' eighteenth birthday, while still in high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served his country over the course of three tours. For over forty-seven years, James was an over the road truck driver. In life, he was a man of Catholic faith, most recently attending Mass at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton, Missouri. James loved working on his trucks and loved traveling all over.
James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ethel Dillon; parents, Thomas and Margaret Dillon; brother, Thomas Dillon, and sister, Eileen Szelc.
He is survived by his three children, Teri Reilly (Tony), Jimmy Dillon, and Bridgette Gregory (James); seven grandchildren, Eric Reilly, Kristin Reilly, Jamie Gregory, Patrick Dillon, Jeremy Dillon, Megean Gregory, and Mars (Brandi) Dillon; fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
