ANDERSON, IN – James A. "Jamie" Griffin, 52, left the weaknesses of his earthly body on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Jamie was doing what he liked to do most in that he was sharing with his friends at a benefit concert when he suffered a massive heart attack. Despite the excellent level of care from Ball Hospital, recovery was not possible. How-ever, in his leaving us, Jamie continues to live in the gifts he gave to others as an organ donor.
He was born on November 8, 1972, in Anderson to James L. and Vickie J. (Miller) Griffin. Jamie was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1992. Many will remember him working at the Alexandria Dairy Queen during his teen years. He attended Vincennes University. During his 12 years of high school and college, Jamie never missed a day and had perfect attendance. He worked for Delco-Remy America until it closed. Since 2002, Jamie has worked in the labeling department at Red Gold for the past 23 years. He was a member of the Alexandria Eagles #1771. Obviously, peo-ple, music and concerts were a major part of Jamie's life. He was of a fun loving and outgoing social personality, which he then inserted his well-known sarcastic sense of humor. He was a hard worker at his job and worked hard at "working out!" Jamie was a collector of all things Star Wars and was a fan of the Indiana Pacers. But the most notable achievement of Jamie's life was that he was ex-tremely proud of being Logan's dad.
