James Travis Johns passed away June 30, 2025 at age 58. The Funeral Service will be held Friday July 4, 2025 at 1 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-7 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Eulia Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jay Hunter, Troy Cook, Michael Troutt, Jason Freeman, Travis Troutt and Jimmy Johns. Travis was born on April 10, 1967 in Sumner County, TN to Maggie Todd and James Earl Johns. He worked in construction for 40 years. Travis is survived by his daughters Karen (Troy) Cook of Castalian Springs, Daphne (Jay) Hunter of Gallatin, Erin (Michael Troutt) Johns of Cottontown and Jodi (Jason) Wilson of Gallatin, brothers Jimmy Ray Johns of Gallatin, Sid Dyer of Lafayette and Wayne Dyer of Lafayette, grandchildren Emma Cook, Gunner Cook, Kailiegh Hunter, Maggie Hunter, Travis Troutt, Haley Troutt, Kylie Troutt, Dylan Freeman, Lexi Freeman and Liam Freeman. He is preceded in death by his wife Ivory Lee Johns, grand daughter Karlie Troutt and parents Maggie Lou and James Earl Johns. Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, 100 E.
