James Karalus Obituary

So sorry to hear of the loss of Jimmy. My grandfather (Walter Mager) and Jimmy´s mom are brother and sister.
Jimmy was a wonderful man, when I visited with him back in 2023 he told a story of picking cherries in Albion and bringing them in a paper bag on a bus ride back to Buffalo when he was young boy. He said he had a lot of cherries a large bag full. During the bus ride the cherries began to juice up and leaked thru the bag and filled the floor of the bus with cherry juice. Everyone on the bus was annoyed especially the driver. He laughed and said I couldn´t wait to get off that bus, and I left the bag of cherries too.
We had a good laugh.

Jimmy was our neighbor for over 18 years. We enjoyed our laughs and helpful suggestions he made when I was trying to do something outside. My mother grew up with Jimmy and Patty in the old neighborhood. He used to share memories of back then with us. May you rest in peace. You'll be missed. Don't worry about your cat Cali. I'll do the best I can for her.

Worked with Whitey at GM for a number of years. Very nice guy. We shared a lot of laughs. My condolences to the family
