James Madison Harpold Little, 42, passed away on July 10, 2025, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born on April 19, 1983, he was the son of Michael Harpold and Linda Little who survive.

James was an extraordinary individual whose life was a testament to selfless devotion and unwavering faith, dedicating himself from a young age to the noble pursuit of mentoring, counseling, and educating children. With profound commitment, he imparted essential skills such as reading, culinary arts, and hospitality, while nurturing the moral character necessary for children to become exemplary members of society. As the founder of W.A.S.P. (War Against Sexual Predators), James demonstrated resolute leadership in safeguarding young lives, a mission deeply rooted in his fervent love for God and his cherished family. His vibrant spirit and boundless enthusiasm inspired all who knew him, whether he was engaging in community football or volleyball matches or leading invigorating hikes through nature. James's life was defined by his sacred calling to love God wholeheartedly, honor his family, and protect children with unwavering resolve. His enduring legacy of faith, compassion, and selflessness continues to inspire and uplift countless lives, even beyond his time with us.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Heather Little; his children, Shyanne Lang, Ty Little, Maggie Little, James Felts, Joshua Felts, Job Felts, and Anthony Costlow; three grandchildren, Oaklinn, Marilyn, and Walker; five siblings, Steven Willard, Chase Wade, Adrien Rowe, Carmin Raju, and Christopher Kamkuy.

James's request for cremation was honored. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.

The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes is honored to be serving James's family at this time.
