Delores Hodge Obituary

Delores Hodge, 85, of Centralia, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at SLU Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born in Odin, Illinois on September 17, 1939 to Cecil Kirgan and Ruby Fern (Reynolds) Kirgan. On August 30, 1957, she married Kenneth Hodge Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Survivors include her children, Jeff (Cheryl) Hodge of Georgia, Rick (Debbie) Hodge of Centralia and Kenneth (Virginia) Hodge, Jr. also of Centralia; siblings, Hazel (Robert) Osborne of Texas and Keith Meredith of Centralia; half brother, James Kirgan of Junction City; half sister, Evonna Brown of Junction City; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruby Fern Kirgan; her husband, Kenneth Hodge Sr.; a daughter, Cathy Timmons; granchildren, Nicole Hodge, Kimmie Marcum and Tiffany Hodge; siblings, Kennie Meredith, Karl Meredith, Richard Kirgan and Kathy Meredith.
Delores was an avid Cardinal Fan with Yadier Molina being her favorite player. She enjoyed playing Rummy, watching westerns and game shows. She loved bird watching and her flowers and plants. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.
A Graveside Service will be held for Delores on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to the Centralia Humane Society and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to Delores' Family.
