James L. Tully, 79, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devout Catholic and dedicated member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, James's passing comes just under a month after that of his beloved wife, Barbara Tully. Born on February 1, 1946, in Jeffersonville to the late Francis and Rose Tully, James led a life marked by courage, devotion, and a deep love for his family. He and Barbara shared a passion for travel, exploring destinations like Florida, North Carolina, and Gatlinburg. Many will fondly remember seeing them riding together on their Harley Davidson, a testament to their shared adventures.

He is survived by his son, Shaun Tully (Karen) of New Albany, Indiana; his daughter, Devona McMichael (Larry) of Sellersburg, Indiana; his brothers, Fr. Henry "Harry" Tully of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Robert Tully (Mary Pat) of Indianapolis, Indiana. James also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who will deeply miss him.
