James Bradford “Buddy” White 73, of Rockingham, NC passed away Sunday July 13, 2025 at First Health Richmond in Rockingham. Born in Richmond County on April 22, 1952, he is the son of the late William Franklin and Margaret Grice White. He enjoyed 47 wonderful years with his late wife Patty before her death in 2020.
Buddy worked as a supervisor for Hood Packaging in Hamlet, NC for 41 years before retiring. He was a great father, who did anything for his children and grandchildren. He always kept a huge smile on his face, that all who knew him grew to love.
Surviving are his son Kevin White, daughter Brandi White, grandchildren Lexi White, Kolbi White, Skylar Collins, Karson White, Aaron Covington Jr., Arabella Oxendine and Bentley Oxendine, great grandchildren Wesley Chavis Jr., Kimberlee Steen and Rowdy Johnson. He also leaves behind his only sister Lois White Thomley and brother-in-law Buddy.
The family will receive friends to Celebrate the lives of James “Buddy” White and Patricia “Patty” White Monday July 21, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
