James Lee Williams, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with members of his loving family by his side. James was an educator and lifelong resident of Pensacola and will be missed by so many that knew him.

James was a long-time professor at the University of West Florida and was fluent in many different languages. He was also the owner of a learning academy that helped tutor so many in the local area.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504.

To the Williams family, Wishing you peace and comfort as you navigate this challenging time. I had the opportunity to spend time with Mr. James while he was in the hospital before his passing. We had good conversations and laughs that I will cherish of him and all that he helped me and my son in the educational aspects of life.
