Jamie was a 2002 Graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She had a smile that would light up a room and a heart of gold who would always help others before taking care of herself. Jamie will be greatly missed by those who loved her most.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Doris Emmerson and Mac and Betty Slygh.
She is survived by her parents, Jim Slygh (Lisa) and Debbie Slygh-Rickard (Shawn); sons, Kaden M. Garrison and Dalton Ford; brother, Kyle Slygh (Miriah); and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 7, 2025 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to NEWLIFE Rescue and Adoption, 6500 Leonard Rd. N., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.
