Jamie Lynn Fouch, age 69, of Cedar Bluff, VA went to be with the lord on July 6, 2025.
Jamie was born on December 28,1955 in Tazewell County Virginia, to the late James H. Shinall, Sr. and Helen I. Sargent Shinall of Richlands, VA. She was a graduate of Richlands High School. She later graduated from Lindsey Wilson College, with a degree in Professional Counseling and Human Services. She also obtained an Associate's Degree in Environmental Management from Southwest Virginia Community College.
Jamie had a thirst for knowledge and enjoyed teaching others. She cared deeply about the environment. Jamie was passionate about caring for animals and had a special connection with nature and wildlife. She dearly loved the family dog, Little Boss. She enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and traveling. She also enjoyed watching classic movies and dreaming up recipes to cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Fouch; stepdaughter: Angela Fouch McKinney; sisters, Kimberly Shinall, Christina Shinall; brother, Charles "Chuck" Shinall.
Those who remain to carry on her spirit are her children; James Fouch, Tara Davis and husband, Kendall, Te'Anna Laney and husband, Vannie, He'Lana Vaughn and husband, Jordan; grandchildren; Clayton Laney, Emma Laney, siblings; James Shinall, Jr. and wife, Katherine, Karen Knuckles and husband, Dewey.
Also surviving are nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, friends and extended family.
Private arrangements for Jamie will be held at the convenience of the family.
