Jan Bates Obituary
Kristen was born in Heber City, UT to Roberta and Knute Overn January 25, 1962.
She married the love of her life David Earl Bates March 19, 1977 in Heber City, Utah. Together they had 3 children Korey (Diana), Derrick (Kerrstin), and Jamaica.
There was nothing Kristen enjoyed more than the outdoors with her loving husband and family. Hunting, boating, fishing, camping, and rock hunting were some of her many joys in life.
She is survived by her brothers Steve (Robin), Greg, and sister Delaine (Dave). Children Korey (Diana), Derrick (Kerrstin), and Jamaica. Grandchildren Chelsey, Peyton, Trenton, Jailyn, Porter, and Kirra. Great grandchildren Wesley, Brynlee, Kingston, and Blakely.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband David Earl Bates, her parents Roberta Knute Overn, and brother James Overn.
A Celebration of Life for Jan and David will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Charleston Town Hall, 3454 West 3400 South, Heber, Utah 84032.
