Janet S. Trisler-Boyce passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Owen Valley Rehab & Medical Center. She was born in Bloomington, IN on October 4, 1935 to Levi and Leta (Smith) Trisler. Janet was a member of McDoel Baptist Church where she married the love of her life Clyde William Boyce Sr. She worked for RCA and finished her employment with Target retiring with over 20yrs of service. She loved singing gospels with her sisters and going on many road trips with her sister Dee to learn of their families Genealogy. Janet was never happier than to spend time with all her grandchildren. Janet is survived by her son-in law, Roger Silkworth and six grandchildren, Shawna (Jim) Day, Eric (Deana) Boyce, Paul (Amy) Silkworth, Beth (Michael) Bigely, Melissa (Dan) Jones, and Chrissy (Steve) Smith; Many Great & Great Great-Grand Children, and many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Clyde W. Boyce Sr, Her children Leta Silkworth and Clyde William "Bill" Boyce Jr.; Her siblings Henry L. Trisler, Pearl (Jack) Blair, Louise (Howard) Wenrich, Deloris "Dee" (Robert) Williams. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington. A graveside service for Janet will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens. We will forever miss her warmth, laugh and smile Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
