Ware/Cherry Valley- Janet A. Iannoli, 84, of Ware and Cherry Valley, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 23, 2025, at home with her family by her side. She leaves behind her daughter, Linda M. Wilson and her companion, Carl, of Ware; her son, Charles Iannoli Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Oakham; her son, James Iannoli and his wife, Elvira, of Spencer; and her son, Michael Iannoli and his wife, April, of Worcester. She also leaves her sister, Eleanor Gratton and her husband, Norman, of Brookfield; her brother, Johnny Tower; her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles J. Iannoli in 2022; by her sister, Linda Loranger; and by her brothers, Raymond and Alfred Tower. She was born in Worcester, daughter to the late John and Rosemary (Dufresne) Tower. Janet and Charles lived in Cherry Valley for 65 years, prior to his passing. She then moved to Ware to live with her daughter Linda. Janet worked for the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester for many years, and came to be known by the student body as a kind and caring "house mom." She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed a good mystery novel. She also made a point to never miss an episode of "Days of Our Lives," since it first aired in 1965. She loved antiquing, and thrifting through yard sales and flea markets for all kinds of unique treasures, as well as spending some quality time with her husband at Foxwoods. She was also one of Elvis Presley's biggest fans. A Graveside Service for Janet will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 11:00am in Saint John Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 2174, or online at https://give.michaeljfox.org/campaign/694026/donate.
