Janet Meyerhoff (nee Dames), of Wentzville, MO, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Norman Meyerhoff; cherished daughter of the late Glennon and Thelma Dames. Devoted mother of Mark (Sharon) Meyerhoff and Scott Meyerhoff; loving grandmother of Michelle Bednarek, Sarah Kennedy, Alec Meyerhoff, and Dane Meyerhoff; treasured great-grandmother of 4.
Janet was an avid gardener who found joy in planting and caring for her beautiful flowers, creating vibrant landscapes that reflected her love for nature. She took great pride in nurturing her garden, finding peace and fulfillment in every bloom. More than anything, Janet adored her family and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Whether hosting gatherings, sharing laughter, or simply enjoying quiet conversations, she made every occasion special with her warmth and kindness. Her love for both her garden and her family was evident in everything she did, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and love. Janet was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Janet's name to ALS Association St. Louis Regional or St. Croix Hospice.
Private services will be held for immediate family.
