Janet Leigh Obituary

Janet Leigh, long-time resident of Syracuse, N.Y., passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025 in Georgetown, TX. She was born on February 27, 1936, in Kirkville, N.Y., where she lived most of her life. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald Leigh. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Kathy Leigh Fyffe of Texas; grandchildren, Erika Zazzara (Gee) of Syracuse, Joseph Zazzara of Colorado, and Zackary Zazzara of Texas; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She spent most of her career in the banking business, retiring from Solvay Bank. Janet enjoyed traveling, spending time with her dog, and going to the Turning Stone Casino. Recently, she spent a whole summer in Colorado with her grandsons' family. She will come home to her final resting place in Kirkville Cemetery to be with her husband.
