Passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday July 30th 2025.

Janice was born May 17th 1946 to Edward and Doris (Simpson) Kujath.

She was united in marriage to Victor Ackman on March 10th 1962. They resided in rural Jansen until his passing in 1988. To this union they welcomed 4 sons Douglas,Gregory,Christopher and Theodore. As well as being a farm wife Janice was employed by the United States Postal Service,first as a clerk then promoted to Postmaster first at Jansen then later Plymouth NE. After 46 years she retired from Postal Service in 2012. In her spare time she enjoyed going to casinos with family and dear friends.

In retirement she enjoyed snuggling up with her puppy dogs on love seat reading and watching game shows. Also spending quality time with her son Ted, having sleepovers with her great granddaughter River Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents ,husband Victor. Brothers Dale , David , Jim, and Stan. Sister Judy Schwisow brother in law Michael J Coates, sister in law Barb Kujath, sister in law Iris Doleman, nephews Brian Chab and Perry Kujath. She is survived by her son Doug his wife Susan her son Greg his wife Carol her son Chris and his wife Cindy and her son Ted. Sister Peggy Coates Sisters in law Patti Kujath Carol Kujath , brothers Johnny , Richard, and Gary. 7 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren Her dear friends Diane Ebke Jim (jesse) James.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life at a later date with family & friends
