Survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Kevin Heuser, and her siblings Julie (Warren) Sallade and Jeff (Johna) Long. Cherished Aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Preceded in death by her parents John B. Long and Joanne Long (nee DiMatteo).
Janice lived a life rooted in love, generosity, and joy. She was a nurturer in every sense of the word-tending not only to her garden, but to everyone lucky enough to know her.
As an aunt, she was a source of boundless affection and adventure. Her nieces and nephews will forever remember her laughter, her silly stories, and the way she made every moment feel special. To her friends and family, she was a light-steady, bright, and comforting.
A lover of nature, Janice found peace and purpose among her plants, believing that beauty could heal and that joy could grow anywhere it was planted. Her legacy will live on in every bloom she nurtured and every heart she touched.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles 63304.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary-New Melle, 8 Hwy D, New Melle, MO 63365
Interment: Our Lady Cemetery & Mausoleum
