Janice F. Moynihan, 80, of Plymouth passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Janice was born on December 7, 1944 in Plymouth, a daughter to the late Glenweye and Agnes (Lee) Freimund. She attended schools in Plymouth graduating from Plymouth High School. Following high school she attended the Beauty Culture School in Milwaukee and was then associated with a variety of beauty salons in the Plymouth area. She later was employed by Emerald Graphics as a screen press operator.
Janice is survived by her loving companion of over 30 years, Jim O'Malley of Plymouth; her children, Trina (Robert Steffens) Moynihan of Grand Rapids, MI, Karri (Dan) Garrity of Chicago and Jason (Kimmy Wilson) Moynihan of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Micayla (Clayton), Robert, Cassandra, Jack, Henry, Margaret, Grace and Michael; three great grandchildren; Jim's children Michael (Benda) O'Malley of Sheboygan Falls and Nick (Stephanie) O'Malley of Plymouth, his grandchildren, Skye, (Phillip), Rachael, Maddie and Abbie and 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Thome of Howards Grove; and a sister-in-law, Kris Freimund of Plymouth. Other relatives and friends further survive including Sr Suzanne Moynihan SSND. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by brother, David Freimund, grandson Dustin and brother-in-law, John Thome.
Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
The family wishes that in memory of Janice acts of kindness be done in her name.
