Janie Rene Murphy, age 58, of Eldon, was born January 25, 1967, in Russellville, Arkansas, a daughter of Charles and Roberta (Wilder) Thompson, and passed from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.
She was united in marriage on December 17, 1999, in Versailles, to Mr. Timothy Lee Murphy.
Janie was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and her beloved dog, Sam.
Those left to mourn the passing of Janie include: her husband Timothy of Eldon; her son Bobby McCrorey and wife, Danielle of Camdenton; her daughter Cortney Powell and husband, Bret, of Vienna; two step-daughters Krista Martinez and Rachel Bolboa, both of the state of Texas; sixteen grandchildren, Brayden Wickham, Kaeleigh Wickham, Titus Powell, Lily Powell, Nolan Powell, Sadie Powell, Kingson Powell, Makhiron Powell, Annaleigh Powell, Madison McCrorey, Caden McCrorey, Jaxson McCrorey, Silas McCrorey, Kory Akana, Jordan Graham, and, Elijah Balboa; two brothers Eddie Ray Thompson and wife Brenda, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Bobby A. Stone and wife Carla, of Dixon; and other relatives and friends.
Janie was preceded in death by her father Charles, her mother Roberta, her sister Corina Lynn Sills, and one step-son Jimmy Murphy.
Visitation will be held for Janie from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., all in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 406 S. Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582.
Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.
Memorials are suggested by the family of Mrs. Janie Rene Murphy to help with funeral expenses with envelopes available at the funeral home on the day of her service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
