Jan was a member of the LaFayette First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margie Coulter.
Jan is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Danny Patterson; son, Daniel Coulter Patterson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Derrick Fielder officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Believers Sunday School Class.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
